So does ICP work similar do reverse osmosis and also useful minerals calcium, magnesium are removed? Anyway it sounds like an interesting breakthrough regarding energy efficiency and portability


I wonder if this will scale up? Not having to unclog filters and less energy for pumping makes it sound like this could make much cheaper desalination plants. What is the catch? They must have been concentrating on a portable unit for a reason?
