This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine, but arguably a lot of stuff in pico-playground or pico-extras is not finished and left as exercise for the reader. This is fine if you already know what you are doing but not so much when it's marketed as 'baby's first uC'.

Is it though? Seems to me the marketing, especially this announcement, pushes it for commercial users.


From the 2021 press release:

Arguably? They straight up say that the things in those repos are unfinished or otherwise not good enough for the SDK.


Yes, and the wording implies that as they mature they would be merged into the SDK. Yet 18 months after release there was nothing done save for some minor janitorial fixes. Not to mention the lack of any sort of documentation.
